stupid arthritis

For several days now, I have known that I was going to have to remove and leave my wedding rings off for a while. The palm of my hand has been painful for a few months, improving and then becoming more painful. (It all started when I tried to use my hand as a hammer to push some boards back into their rightful place on a gate I was repairing.

Oh Sweetie. That is a hard step to take, even if it is for reasons of health. Have you tried to see if the rings will fit on your pinkie finger? When I gained wieght, and my original wedding rings no longer fit, I put them on my pinkie finger, and there they stay, even today. I understand not wanting to be without them, and feeling sad. I can honestly say I know that feeling well. I find myself twirling an invisible ring on my finger at least once a day. I know you don't really know me well, but I hope you will accept this hug.
