Ugh.... I did it again. I told myself, I had plenty of time to work on the scroll. I had time-off for surgery and I would get it done early. Not the case. Couldn't sit at my desk for very long because of the surgery, then when I could I got sick with a virus which turned into bronchitis and a million other distractions along the way that are all

The scroll is done. Mostly happy with it, but it did involve a very late night. Lesson re-learned.

That's a good question. Why do you continue to think that? Imagining that you need to improve a specific technique makes sense. It is good to critically evaluate your work with an eye towards improvement. But questioning your work simply because you made it suggests that you forget to acknowledge/value what you did right in the piece. When was the last time you stepped back and told yourself that your shading is awesome?
