Somebody today tried to argue with me that 1000mb isn't 1gb. She claimed it was 1024mb. *le sigh* Women + Computers = Trouble If you're smart, = does not mean definite, there's a sign with three - which indicate absolute. So all you feminist bitches out there, or just really offended normal people, shut the hell up xD
you really did learn too much shit in software...it is an approximation that 1000mb is 1gb coz we dont give a flyin fuck about 24mb. its all a piece of shit that only software can explain and we dont wanna go there. i dont give a shit if she was right, coz i dont see the point in caring about a measly fuckin 24mb when ya got a fuckin 1000mb.

Oh, and the reason its 1024 is because of the numbering thinggo system. You know:
1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024.
All because there is 8 bits to a byte.
