Oof. And here I was, all self-congratulatory that we'd put away several cocktails apiece and a bottle of wine per person on Thanksgiving -- hey, we still know how to tie one on! Obviously, we're letting down our nation.

I made a bowl (a stockpot, actually) of Philadelphia Fish House Punch for Friendsgiving. I think, adjusting for the 21st century, we're doing OK by these United States. E pluribus unum.
