If you haven't heard Obama is announcing his e-mail via text message. It's probably happening tomorrow morning because the campaign has announced they will both have a joint appearance at the Illinois state capital on Saturday. I think you're right about Kaine, though. There's a lot to like about him, especially the balanced ticket: Senator - Governor, Midwesterner - Southerner, etc.

And this is silly, but -- they kind of just look good standing together, don't they?

I'll just say Hillary Clinton. Most political analysts thinks that there is no chance but maybe Obama wants to surprise us all. Obama is going to have a very tough time of reconciling with the PUMA people if he doesn't pick her.

Good point about the PUMAs. The question is do they come home. And do the positives about putting her on the ticket outweigh the negatives?--I really don't know.....

but I also think the self-proclaimed PUMA people are racists.....I'm sure they would've have no problem going back in time and voting for a Lincoln (who had about as much experience as Obama). Wait, I take that back! Lincoln freed the slaves--PUMAs would NEVER vote for Lincoln having that tidbit of information!
