i completely love this.

the sleepy "dubcon" is a bit of a 'thing' for me. so i was hesitant, but that was gorgeous.

also:

about how lucky he was that Pete somehow thought he was all like golden and shit, or that he needed to remember to pick up some more peanut butter because Pete really liked his PB&J, or, like, the songs they were working on, or how much he loved him or the movie they watched last night or whatever.

i love how the 'how much he loved him' was just thrown in that list.

Your Patrick here is spot on, possessive of his Pete, a bit random, awkward and laborious, adorable and passionate about what he likes.

I love a possessive Patrick as well, when it makes sense. I'm glad it worked for you here. Thanks for the feedback, my comfort-level with this sort of writing is pretty low so it's nice to hear that it worked for someone. :D

And Pete seems the kind of fellow that likes the feeling of belonging to someone/something, it's the only explanation I've got for the belly-rubbing thing he's doing at shows now, for example. :D
