Tidying, in more ways than one

First and foremost, I’ve been doing some spring cleaning here on LJ and on Twitter. I’ve mostly defriended people who never post, people whom I never or rarely talk to, and people who abuse Twitter pretty fiercely. I am all for your freedom to post, not post, comment, not comment, and tweet like it’s going out of style, but I stand firmly by my ( Read more... )

I must admit, even moving in and out of college feels overwhelming to me. I can't imagine packing up a whole house. Well, I take that back - I've moved twice that I can remember and actually had to help lol. But that wasn't on my own, and I was mostly just in charge of my own belongings. So I wish you the best of luck packing :D

Yay baby! I'm still so excited for you and Leo both :)

I didn't live away from home for college, but I remember moving my sisters into the dorm their freshman year, and it was HELL, so I know what you mean. I don't mind packing and unpacking and such - moving has never been a big deal, but that's probably because I'm super organized. This, though, will be the first time I've done a long-distance move.

Hee! Thank you, bb. We're still pretty excited too, and I really can't wait for Friday. I am crossing my fingers that the baby is feeling cooperative enough to let us know whether it's a girl or a boy!

I'm not too bothered about the packing bit, really, it's just a pain in the ass to figure out where to start. I am far better at the unpacking, though, I will admit!

I had a rather flames-on-the-side-of-my-face moment when I read that this morning. :( Let's blame the victim a little bit more, shall we? Let's make it even more difficult and unappealing for victims to report rape, shall we? UGH.

Not at all! I'm pretty notoriously crap at commenting, but I always enjoy reading your posts/Tweets. But, you know, if you're bored with my nonsense, feel free to run like the wind! Or stroll. Running seems a bit much effort.
