I really don't even have any idea what I'm doing here, but last week I stumbled on a picspam of Elijah Wood, and let's just call it nostalgia or the ghost of fandom past, but I wrote something, in the painted_whiskey-verse, no less.

You know, this is the first thing I've written in...more than a year. I kind of can't believe a picture of Elijah got me to write. From time to time I think about him (and the others) in the context of PW, and I do miss them a bit. Perhaps it might be time for my annual re-read.

I'm not familiar with that verse, but I did like this companion piece to the photograph.

Thank you. :D The PW-verse is something ditchwitchbitch and I began writing together nearly six years ago. It's long finished now, and for some reason, this photo of Elijah made me think of it. I hadn't actually seen a picture of him in ages, as I've fallen away from Lotrips, but when I saw this, something about it struck me, so I just kind of threw out a little drabble. Writing felt good; I haven't written anything in more than a year.
