I feel awkward in my own space

So I decided to log in to this journal and see what's been going on, and it's super quiet! Have you all abandoned LJ for Tumblr? Should I get a Tumblr? Can someone explain to me the point of Tumblr?

I use tumblr a lot lately and I still don't really understand the point of it, besides collecting pretty pictures. It doesn't really have Actual Interaction with people imo, LJ is still much better for that.

Yeah, pictures seems to be the primary fannish motivation for Tumblr, which, you know, is not strictly bad. I think I just really like the interaction of LJ, which is why I still haven't been sucked into Tumblr.

I was disappointed that the finale of GoT came so quickly, but it's good to know it will be back for a second season next year. I'm still trying to decide whether I should read the books or not.
