KITTENS! Sally does look particularly like she would murder you if she thought you were worth the effort in that first picture. :DD
The integration of my cat with mmeguilotn's has progressed to the point where all three of them can now be in the same room together and no one freaks out, so long as that room is not the kitchen at cat-feeding time.
She very well MIGHT have murdered me, if she didn't know I'm the food person. I mean, she's easy-going and all but there's easy-going, and then there's interrupted sleep. Interrupted CAT sleep. I'm lucky I didn't lose an eye.
I'm glad you guys' cats are settling in! It can take a while to get to that point where no one freaks, but it always happens eventually.
Well. It happens outside the kitchen at cat-feeding time, anyway. INside the kitchen...that's a totally separate case. Good luck! *g*
Our previous two-kitty combination was two girls and they almost never were nice to each other. Now we have two girls and a boy. The boy loves everyone and will flop down and snuggle with any warm body, and the two girls like but don't love each other. But the big girl kitten now has the boy kitten to get all her kitten-play energy out on, and therefore doesn't try to play with the old girl kitty so much. The old girl kitty is grateful. She likes to snuggle and groom but she's not so keen on the playing.
*nodnods* Jack the Cat eventually adopted kitten!Sally as a snuggle-and-grooming buddy. I think that's part of why I get sad for Oogie and Sally; I want them to have that same, sweet bond.
I'm so glad that the big girl and boy kittens can be pals! It can be tough on older cats, to have kittens to deal with. It can be tough on HUMANS to have kittens in the house--I'm seriously so impressed with your work on that!
That picture of little-kitten-Sally makes me squee -- she's gorgeous as an adult cat but she was the most precious kitten!
It's very good for our old kitty that she can just get the nice snuggle times now. She was not thrilled when the big kitten kept trying to play with her, and now the big kitten has figured out that she can just beat up the little kitten, who loves it. We saw a magnet on a truck today that said "I'm a good dog, I just do bad things" and that's what kittens are like, LOL!
She really was such an adorable kitten. And it seems like she was that little tiny ridiculous face very recently--but she's almost 5 now. A grownup!
One thing I'm glad of is that Sally and Oogie are pretty much the same age; the neighbor I took Oogie from got her as a kitten about 6 months after I got Sally. At least they're at sort of the same level of interest in play. I can totally see how the old kitty would be irritated by kitten levels of activity! And two kittens playing together is adorable--bad, totally, that magnet is right on the money--but adorable. ;-)

Possibly we'll have to give Sally another haircut though. Otherwise that could be...uncomfortable. *g*
