I did not know you were in Farscape! How cool! It was first big fandom, and the first where I got involved in fannishlife outside of the interwebs. It has a special place in my heart, oh yes.
So anyway, I might not comment super regularly, but if you’re on my f’list, I read your journal. I’m reading, and I’m waiting. :D /creepy?
Not creepy at all, because I do the same thing. And what I say goes. :)
Oh Farscape! I fell hard for Aeryn Sun and just remained in love with her forever and ever, and John, and Moya, and Pilot, and omg everyone. And I still count Crackers Don't Matter as one of my favorite episodes of television ever. <3<3<3 Yay Farscape and its fandom and I'm so glad it was a good place for you, too!

Yeah! High five for fellow hangers-around! *grins*
I came for Crichton and stayed around for everyone else. Much love for them all (hell, my car's named Rygel, after all). Funnily enough I mostly skipped writing for it (nearly).
I had this "comment twice for two different people a day" thing I had going, and then that crapped out, esp. when I realized that I only got, say 6 posts a day, and it was always the same people. :) Still, need to try that again. Or just keep lurking, mainly.
(That bit where they arrange to go to the Glittering Caves and Fangorn together is just... they otp THEMSELVES. And in a way healthier way than Sam and Frodo, who are also totally otp in my heart but in the SADDEST WAY EVER.)
Thank you! Also, RIGHT? RIGHT? Fuck yeah! So much OTP, and so much riding off into the sunset together, and sailing off into the West together, and just. Yes yes yes. <3<3<3
I haven't written them before, though, so I can't make any promises? But I will TRY because I should put my money where my mouth is, amirite? *grins*
Legolas GETS AN EXCEPTION MADE FOR GIMLI SO THEY CAN GO WEST TOGETHER. I JUST. And I adore that they are deliberately supposed to be an example of people who culturally/traditionally ought to hate each other coming to love and appreciate what's great about the other and their world, even with all the weight of history and culture against them. ♥
*cheers you on, although will totally understand about the Tolkien fic thing if you can't!*
Legolas and Gimli are still my canon OTP as well. Because...I mean really! Tolkien actually reminds me of some of the smarm authors--they love each other, totally, madly, passionately, but not like that! Uh-huh.
Steve/Danny, SOMETHING HAPPY (I keep trying to think of a better prompt, but my brain just keeps circling around to happy, happy, happy, I just want them to be so happy!)
I love knowing that you read journals and stay curious in spite of diverging interests-I think I tend to do very much the same thing. And mostly I'm glad you're been around here for 10 years to share all the things that interest YOU with us! ♥
Happy happy happy Steve and Danny is so 100% a thing I love and love to do--yes, and also yay. :D
Also, thank you. I am glad to be here, enjoying so many things; shows and books and music and fandoms and people. I wouldn't trade my time here for anything.
Giddy, you are the cutest, non-creepiest creeper EVAH. Just sayin'. And happy 1000th post!
And, because they are eating my brain, something BBC Sherlocky? Well, or if you're more nostalgic, I always love me a little Sentinel for the interpenetration. <3!
Oh, I'm plenty creepy, ms ldthomps--I'm just also stealthy enough that you haven't noticed yet. Muahahahaaaa.
BBC Sherlock, totally can do! And for all your interpenetration needs, wouldn't Blair come across John's blog and totally be thinking Sherlock is a Sentinel? *grins*
