There's stuff on the Wiki for Good Omens and it's listed as in development on IMDB--which doesn't mean much AT ALL. At all! I will try not to get my hopes impossibly high!

However. *__________________*

Neil Gaiman has posted about it a bit. It feels like it's moving at an arthritic snail's pace, but IT WILL HAPPEN.

ETA Martin did/does have that bit of a tum for Bilbo... totally ready to play the Angel :)

Arthritic snail's pace for sure! I was thinking, if it's 2013, I'm surprised we don't at least have some set photos online somewhere. But I am impatient, and the BBC plays a long game, so. *grins*

He does and is--I can just see him as Aziraphale, although slightly, um, less camp? *g*

Eeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

And Cumberbatch is quite literally my Dream Casting. In that I have been hoping for a while now to see him in a live-action Sandman.

HEE. Dream! That absolutely, completely would be amazing.

All right, Cumberbatch. Into all the Gaiman works ever! Fandom commands it, and we are so rarely wrong.

Well. *handwaves*

I KNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!! *_______*

I won't believe it until we HAVE it, of course. But even a sort of concrete possibility is MORE than enough to get me flailing!

Just because it needs to be said in public and not just on IM:

CATHERINE TATE AS MADAME TRACY.

PAINTED JEZEBEL.

MORNINGS ONLY, THURSDAYS BY ARRANGEMENT.

I WANT IT LIKE I HAVE RARELY WANTED ANY OTHER THIIIIIING

I'd let Catherine Tate arrange ALL my Thursdays, is what I'm saying.

Adorkable (your reaction and the robot icon omg). And Yay BBC! The best part of socialism besides national health care!

:D :D :D Adorkable INDEED. The robot icon is actually from a photo I took of grafitti near my work--it was on the back wall of a theatre that was being renovated from an old junker to a gorgeous showplace. Seemed appropriate to snag an image of this guy before he disappeared forever.

ANYWAY. Yay BBC, I hope hope hope they give us this thing we have been promised. *grins*
