I went to jury duty for the first time today! Never been called before. We got held until lunch time and then dismissed because no trials, which was kind of both maddening and awesome. Virtual Giddy hugs are not nearly as good as *actual* Giddy hugs but,.,

(Fly-by catch up of flist posts from earlier in June...good grief, I'm behind!)

I've never actually been called for jury duty, although it's one of those things I'd like to experience at least once (although maybe I'm going to regret saying that one day). Sounds like you got off easy. My father was once called in for a very tedious and time-consuming trial, although he did say it was fascinating!
