CANNOT WAIT FOR YULETIDE and YAY for pumpkin beer!!
Good luck traveling into Middle America. Having spent 4 years close(r) to the middle, it's not too scary, especially if you're with good people, which you will be :)
People keep asking if I'm in for Yuletide and I keep being surprised, like, isn't my IN beaming from me like sunshine? Because innnnn.
Yes, I am very fortunate in the people I will be with! And fairly close, as I understand it, to the Mississippi. But I can't imagine it not feeling weird to know you're more than an hour from the ocean!
#7 uuuuuuugh Dylan O'Brien is going to be the lechery-inducing death of me. *___________*

YES!! I mean… Ten years. It's part of my life for a decade. I can no more say I'm not in for YT than I can say I'm not going to breathe anymore.
But I can't imagine it not feeling weird to know you're more than an hour from the ocean!
Hee. If you'll be close to the Mississippi, you should be okay :) I'm… further away from the ocean than an hour, but I am about a fifteen minute run from the Lake they call Michigan :) Going to the further west, though, to the plains… That can be a little isolating. (I went to school in Iowa :)
This is my feeling!!! Don't they realize you need a really big salty body of water nearby in order to be a complete person?
I'm sure my knee will be fine. There's like, no bruise, no swelling, and no broken-looking parts, so I'm sure I just strained something. I am sometimes jealous of people who are brave little toasters in the face of pain, but personally I become a sad little, idk, the opposite of toaster. Sad little ice cube tray? That sounds about right.
...that tea sounds amazing. And so perfectly fall!
I don't care about the saline content, just whether or not I can see the other side! The important things. I also dislike flatness. Which makes going to the suburbs vaguely terrifying.
Freshman year of college I like, barely broke my elbow but nearly threw up when they wanted me to straighten it out for x rays. I remember thinking "I could never be Sydney Bristow :("
it's SO good, and caffeine free for when I'm like "but whyyyyyy can't I have chai at 8pm?"
I miss yooooou. Someday when we both have time, we will have to marathon! ...so, 2014 maybe? *G* But for real, willing to sell you on POI, it is super enjoyable.
AND I don't get its acronym mixed up with Torchwood, which has been a problem in other fandoms, not that I'm naming names or anything, okay it kind of rhymes with Peen Golf.
The team is still made of greatness--quite frankly, Steve and Danny still totally ping for me. If the show changed its ways just a little bit, brought back more of that S1 vibe, I'd be back in right quick.
I wish healing was powered by impatience! Knee, I don't have time for you to hurt right now, come on--boom, better. *grins*

those aren't normal people.
I hope your knee works itself out, I'm also garbage at being in pain. being in pain is categorically, the worst.
I have pumpkin spice rooibos tea from trader joe's. it's pretty much the shit.

I could be sold so hard on POI. I do have a habit of picking up new fandoms under stress!
