this show is probably going to ruin me

So, Person of Interest could sell me sand in the desert. I love the characters, I love the writing (in general), I am not into the arc I assume they're building but I know I'm going to be chewing my nails while I watch it, and I trust it to be emotionally satisfying. *hands ( Read more... )

I've just finished episode 1.19 so I have a while until I catch up but this post makes me deliriously excited for future episodes.

Oh man, it's SO GOOD. So good! The S1 finale/S2 premiere was absolutely aces--I was literally just biting my couch pillows in glee. I hope you enjoy catching up! :D:D:DDDDD

I had thoughts and then suddenly they became their own post. BUT YES to everything you said. Harold developing weird unexpected feelings for Reese! John just *basking* in the sunshine of their LOVE. I can't even deal. *flaily hands*

Oh jeez, your POST. I just finished reading it and that last paragraph just killed me. I would like to see exactly that resolved by beautiful, beautiful fanfiction, please. *_____*

I love the idea that Harold did not intend to have feelings but Reese is just so good that it would have taken a cold, hard heart to resist him and Harold doesn't have one of those. SO GOOD. So completely--like, I don't even think that's just our slashy head-canon interpretation of events. I think that's legit. *grins*

yes yes omg

I would also love it if they surprised us but tbh I am totally fine with them giving us the bog-standard and obvious romance arc of breakup + makeup.

I would be even more happy if the arc had makeup SEX but okay, I will make do with the EMOTIONAL PORN.

The emotional porn is going to be so satisfying!

When it is actually happening, I will love that arc--I mean, the only way it can really end is with affirmations of love, in whatever TV-show way they choose to go about that. *grins* I personally am with you and would be delighted if the arc had makeup sex--add makeup sex, and I'm happy with any amount of predictability otherwise!--but hey. That's what fanfic is for.

And really, so often fanfic does the romance and sex better anyway. *g*

That's the thing I'm so sejf;asdjfsf about! I can feel the twist coming, and I know I'm going to love it AND I'm going to be squirming. And THEY'RE going to be squirming--you just know that at some point they're going to have to TALK ABOUT FEELINGS when they'd much rather just SHOW them. *grins*

I am fully convinced that, just as Monstropolis is powered by both children's screams and their laughter, Jonathan Nolan feeds off both our bitter tears and our squee. He needs both for complete nutrition.

If he doesn't keep things well-balanced, we'll give him scurvy.

This is the best explanation for Jonathan Nolan that I have ever seen. I am immediately adopting it as canon and will carry on feeding him my bitter tears and squee as needed--I mean, it would be cruel to do otherwise, and I am certainly a fan of a balanced diet.
