I briefly entertained (...well, still entertain) the idea of making the cake myself? Like, I really enjoy cake making and decorating, and I love the thought--but we're looking at 130ish guests and a lot of activity, and my cakes are good but not exactly professional, so it's probably not a good idea. Probably. *grins*
