One thing I will say for the LJ slowdown: I managed to improve my ratio of posts read to comments left. Like, I always read everyone's posts, I don't filter my friendslist, but I guess I was always trying so hard to stay caught up that I was bad at letting people know I was paying attention? And I'm still not stellar about that, because things have

I can totally relate to that reading but not commenting thing. I always make time every few days to read, but I don't usually have a lot of time anymore to comment.

Yeah--it's funny, it's important to me to be caught up and let people know I'm paying attention, but sometimes it's just not possible to do all the commenting! It's almost enough to make me wish LJ had a 'like' 'hugs' and 'congrats' buttons to press. *grins*

So awesome to see you, and I think there's a pact? To all nominate/request 21 Jump Street this yuletide? The penalty is something like "OR ELSE!" but people looked really serious about it. You should probably do it too, just to be safe.

I FELT pretty serious about that OR ELSE! so yes, doing it too--safety is important; safety in numbers is better. *grins* It was great to see you too, and hopefully we will be able to do it again sometime when it's a little warmer for drinking outside!

IM3 with fangirls and OMGYES 21 Jump Street. I love that movie in ways I can't understand yet, and I'm all for making it a yuletide fandom. YES. (although with my luck, I'll add that one (slightly) larger fandom that I'm really familiar with and that will be the one I'm paired to write ;)

Also you very much summed up my feelings about Tumblr and LJ and such. There has been busy-ness and I haven't been around as much online all around but I'm still here and don't plan on leaving anytime soon :)

IM3 with fangirls was the best IM3. God, I love an appreciative audience! And 21 Jump Street--I just love Channing Tatum's great big douchebro HEART, and how much he just LIKES Jonah Hill, and how ridiculous they are together. Tatum is a freaking comic whirlwind, also, and that helps. The entire drug scene, his every moment of SCIENCE, the fight during the play--I laugh SO HARD every time. <3<3<3!

Hurray for still being here, even with time constraints. LJ is still such a satisfying experience. &everyone; And I think it still has a strong place in fandom--hopefully we'll all be here (or DW or both) for a long time to come!
