Go bury yourself in Killa's "The Bitter Glass". Eventually, you will feel better, after a long, plotty, brilliant ride that will give you ALL THE KIRK/SPOCK FEELS.

I BOUGHT A LOT OF TIE-IN NOVELS TODAY. EVEN FIC WASN'T ENOUGH. :D :D :D We'll see how THAT goes for me.

BTW, I keep meaning to email you--I finished the books you got me for my birthday. You are a PEACH for having shared them with me! I absolutely loved them. It took me a bit to get into The Blue Sword but once I was in, I was in; meanwhile I couldn't get over how much I loved The Hero and the Crown. <3<3<3!

I was saying to Martha, I think the thing was actually the animals. Like, her entire story about bringing Talat back to good health was pretty much designed to win me over, and Robin McKinley seems to be one of those people who gets horses, which forget it, I'm all over that. Then I loved absolutely everything about Tor and Luthe and about Aerin fighting the dragons--just straight up instant favorite. :D Well-chosen, you! Thank you again!
