i must've done good

Martha is making soup in the kitchen and there were onions involved, and my eyes decided to FLIP OUT, so I am curled up in the living room, on the apple green couch, a gray and white blanket with a wolf on it over my head like a blanket fort. The wolf is looking at my keyboard as I type. If wolves (on blankets or off) could talk, this one would ( Read more... )

oh man, we haven't seen each other in SUCH A LONG TIME, what is there to report?

...

...I finally did my "professional goals" form for this year! which was, predictably, a huge pain in the patoot and 99% bullshit by volume, but oh well. and I'm going to try to be better about my education-blogging stuff, because it is nice to occasionally try and format a thought without any capslock or profanity. *hands* le interesting: I am not it. But you are the great and ilu and :DDDDDDD for your life being exciting and absurd!

SO MANY THINGS MIGHT HAVE CHANGED FOR YOU IN THE PAST 21 HOURS

:D :D :D

I'm impressed that your professional goals form wasn't 99.9% bullshit, frankly; mine always were corporate-ly speaking. *g* Goals are hard, yo. But yay for that and yessss for more education-blogging stuff! The challenge of thoughts without caplocks or profanity is an intense one, but I think you are up to it and am interested to see how it goes!

Absurd is the word. So tired! Soooo tiiiiiiiired. But checking more and more things off the list, and having more time to spend with friends, is awesome. <3<3<3

It's nice to post! I missed lj a weirdly-lot at times--I've spent a decade reading regular updates from people on their lives/their pursuits, and to do without that felt isolating. But the things are 3/4 done now--the BIG BIG thing is done, and was absolutely wonderful--so huzzah. :D And thank you very much!

I just actually opened your post about POI from earlier in the week. YES it is super absorbing! YES Caviezel is kind of problematic. /o\ I have to kind of balance it by thinking about how AWESOME Taraji Henson is--I love Reese, I love Finch, but my crush on Carter is EPIC EPIC EPIC. :D

:D :D :D Thank you very much! And hee for your rainbow lanterns--we had a long and silly struggle with our wedding coordinator over paper lanterns BUT I WON and they looked awesomesauce. One day not everything will be a wedding reminder, but that is not this day. *g*

"Wife soup" sounds creepy.

I'M JUST SAYING.

eta: Like, what the hell would the last step of that recipe be???

Wife soup is way more Firefly than creepy, yo! Which, hilariously when I just googled it, apparently people HAVE put together recipes for wife soup. Fans. <3 The last step is not 'drink your wife'--that I have seen yet, anyway.

The other thing we're having for dinner COULD be called Molly-and-Flummery bread, yo. The last step of THAT recipe was 'go for a walk in the fall leaves while the bread maker does a thing.' :D :D :D

it's killing me that we don't have our thank you cards in the mail yet. THANK YOU, YO. THIS THING IS AMAAAAAAZING.
