I got an email around 4 hours or so ago that the Revels office was flooding. Apparently, the executive director had been at the office all weekend trying to keep things dry with his personal shop vac. On Vox: Why does it feel like I only post the bad news?
It's taken me a couple of days to get to the point where I can actually write about this without screaming at my computer screen out of fury, frustration and grief. Even now, it's still just boiling under the surface looking to get out.
My car was stolen on Saturday, and the cops have no idea where it might be.

On Vox: Routine and Boring
The title of the post pretty much sums it up. Dad was out of surgery by 10:30 or so this morning, will spend the night at the hospital, and will be going home tomorrow. As far as the procedure went, the bad news is that they did find a blockage. The good news is that they only found the one, and they were able to put a stent in it fairly easily.

My dad has had a heart attack. The doctors have revised their earlier diagnosis and now say that it was a "moderate" size one.
My dad, as you might guess from knowing me, is not one to ever give up the opportunity for a good punchline. You see, we have no idea when the heart attack was.
