HAHAHA! Poor Avon, this is hilarious, I love the way Vila keeps goading him. Oh, lucky Cally *hugs herself*. If I was her I would have pretended to need Avon EVERY NIGHT hahhahahaha!

(typo: steering his cup = stirring)
(And I'm not sure Vila would say 'home free' as I believe it to be a baseball metaphor - a Brit would say 'scott free' or something...)

I'll add your fic journal so I can see when you post the next one. Can't wait!

All right, Confused here: you do stir in your cup of tea, right? Steering is reserved for boats?

Thanks for the advice. I had this story almost done and did not want to bother you with a lengthy Beta-job right away, but it is much appreciated.

No longer confused. I used the phrase twice and thought you wanted me to correct stirring (the last line) into steering. Found the mistake, though, but Lj refuses to let me correct it. When I try to edit, I can't get my cursor to work. Well, we'll try again tomorrow.

If this is the fic you are thinking of deleting please leave it in. This is great, especially the characterisation.

Who knows Aurons may have adopted cloning as a way round all the awkward business of finding one's predestined mate.

You could do it as Aurons regard it as a "primitive evolutionary hold over" Hence why Cally was reluctant to mention it.

Thanks for the ideas!
I wasn't really going to delete this fic...maybe rewrite it (again). I had too much fun writing it. And who knows how Aurons react to the fact that they are the only one of their species that's left.... Or do I have my facts all wrong again. Didn't the Federation wipe out the whole Auron population? At least at some point in the series...., aah I get mixed up. Must really start watching eps again.

The Federation did try wiping them out.Avon & Co. helped rescue some and resettled them on Kaarn. As far as the rest of the Federation goes though Aurons were wiped out in a plague.

I forgot about Kaarn. Must be because I watched the episodes of series 3 and 4 in order of download-completion. I understand that the writers of the show weren't too big on continuation and facts either. Gives fanfic writers all the more freedom of writing outside canon.

Read this again and it's fun (typo in last line, probably from where you fixed it! even=event)...and please may we have the next bit? I'd love to know what happens next!

Aaaw, I'm shamelessly neglecting Lj at the moment and only occasionally read my mail.
I actually wrote part two some time ago (not really pleased with it yet) and you can find it here http://jacteest.livejournal.com/47529.html
Part three is in the make.
So nice of you to read the fic a second time. I'm hopeless at finishing things I started, but bear with me. Eventually I'll get 'round to it.

Are you writing anything these days? I must surf over to Lj soon again, to catch up!
