Today I took a little trip back to the small town where I grew up. Had some business to do there. Nothing serious, just closing an old checking account, insurance agency, that sort of stuff. But the visit dredged up a million old memories

good for you for at least being able to go back to your hometown. i have been back to the town i grew up in once and it was for a funeral of my friend, not because i wanted to go. for me it feels more bitter than sweet. but you have your dad's memory to cherish there & other places and I just have a whole bunch of things i'd rather forget.
