Pain and Tomorrow

self inflicted pain and sorrow
hoping for a better tomorrow
still it comes with no relief
my heart is filled with molten grief
fallen tears are caught in vain
no end in sight for this pain
wasted hours are spent in gloom
waiting for impending doom
going through the day to day
trying to feel and trying to pray
god please help me in my need
believe me and hear
