Sam's note made me cry. It was very 'Sammish...'

And I am glad there was no miraculous finding of the amulet...as sad as it is that it's gone, there needs to be some things that don't get fixed, like in real life.

Wow, this packs an emotional whallop. Sam's letter was very Sam-ish and Dean's reaction was totally in character. I do disagree about the amulet, I think Sam fished it out of the trashcan the minute Dean left the motel room and packratted it away somewhere. Robo-Sam ignored it, so its still somewhere only Sam knows about, waiting for the right moment for Sam to give it back.

Glad that you liked it! I'm with you on the amulet but that is what makes taking on a friends prompt more challenging. I had to think outside 'my box'. I happy it worked for you as the reader.

BTW, when I see certain names, like yours, I think back to Kazcon and the fun we all had. Miss getting together with the fans.

I remember having a blast at KazCon, too. Maybe next summer there'll be another one? I wonder if we could figure out a way to do a virtual con, online. Not the same as being there, but better than twiddling our thumbs waiting for October!
