Jumping On The Book Bandwagon

A book that made you cry:  The Dogs of Babel  by Carolyn Parkhurst .  Lots of books make me cry, though, so I just picked the most recent one.

That was my second option.

And I wondered about the favorite book as a child, too, but forgot to add it in to mine. I'd probably have at least five, though.

How come I'm the only person who didn't read East of Eden in high school?

Yeah, she probably just had us read it so we could watch the movie with James Dean. Like when we watched Seven Years in Tibet for no reason whatsoever.

I totally blocked out the random "Seven Years In Tibet" viewing. I have not managed to block out the awful discussion we had while reading Toni Morrison's "Song of Solomon". Shudder.
