So this morning I decided to bike to Aeon Mall. It's a couple of bridges away. For some reason, I got stopped by a policeman. This entire conversation was in Japanese, but I'm too lazy to type exactly what he said ( Read more... )

Yeah, a lot of my Kansai- and Kantou-residing friends are randomly getting stopped for bike check O_o

I thought bike and bicycle can be interchangeable unless you have previously indicated in context if the object in question is a motorbike.
