We spent Memorial Day weekend in the vicinity of Rocky Mountain NP and Estes Park, with a quick stop in Boulder for breakfast with a friend. It was really lovely, and we had good weather. We did manage some hiking (a 5 mile, and three 3-mile hikes), but the altitude completely kicked my ass, and so I was in poor shape for the first couple of days.
Well, every time I see the parents, I either help them move, or I do a show. This time I'm not helping them move, so it's the crazy world of a show -the Secret Garden. I'll write more later when the world becomes slightly more sane again.
or at least what passes for sane in my little corner of things.;-)
Ha!! If anybody was going to respond to that line, it was going to be you...
Zombie undead iPod: it died in Colorado. Horribly. With screeching and clunking of the hard drive and a failure to play music.
And then back here at the office, when I charged it up and attempted to reset it (in the spirit of scientific exploration really, more than anything else) it revived!
I don't entirely trust this state of affairs to last, and have been leery of doing anything untoward with the iPod, but for the moment at least it's aliiiiiive! (And possibly hungry for brains.)
