So, one of the many things that I haven't told you about, land of LJ, is that I've been learning how to sail this summer. It's great! There's this women's racing league that focuses on teaching and encouraging new sailors, so even though I'm learning by being thrown into the absolute deep end, it's quite fun. I don't know if you knew that my dad built a 2 person sailboat (about 13-ish feet). But every he and I go out, and in not very rough water mind you, I am always pleasantly surprised that I have not drowned at the end of the day. :P

I actually do remember that your dad built a sailboat. I'd forgotten, but he built it in the garage, didn't he?

I have to say that I would have no idea what to do if I didn't have people yelling at me telling me what to do... and while our boat is larger (29 feet), I can't imagine sailing it without fewer than 7 people. So I imagine that two really is hard.

*hug* it's fun and really really tough to challenge yourself like that isn't it?

But glad that you're enjoying it! And as for the bruising.... believe me, I can sympathize...remember the condiditon of my leg when you saw me a couple of weekends ago?
