...ok, i hate to say this, but it looks like i'd better throw in the towel on this one. it turns out that my broken computer is not as fixed as i thought, so i won't have access to my graphic software any time soon. :(

*sigh* i'm really sorry it turned out like this. i will still finish the art when i get the chance, and will post it with a note that it was originally drawn for this exchange.
