The temple of who?

Probably the same way we'd feel in 3,000 years when the Future People make a climbing gym out of the statue of liberty.

Dendur.

Except the Statue of Liberty isn't a place of worship. How's your training coming, did you have a free day coming up? My classes are out until Wednesday for Easter if you still want to use me.

Have you ever seen military ceremonies involving ANY US symbol of patriotism? I saw those a lot, since Mom was in the army. Trust me. It's a religion.

It's ... going. I dunno, everyone reacts so differently. It freaked Rose out, Eleanor was ... well, she was Eleanor. Unflappable, you know? And Devin - that was too scary for words. I'm starting to think this is going to be a lot more unpredictable than I'd like.

I think there are a number of "How would the ancient Nubians and Augustus feel about _____________________" questions that are far more interesting.

I meant more about the sixth century conversion to a church, but I do prefer the Elton John question. Is it wrong to think he and Augustus might have gotten on rather well?

Considering the detail work on the Augustus of Primaporta...I do believe you're quite correct in that assumption, hun.
