Toushiro hated to sacrifice proper posture, but these chairs were just damned impossible, and besides... he was scared.
Things like this never went well for Shinigami, ever.So with a resignated sigh he slumped over the table, lying his feverish forehead on the cool wooden surface as his eyes tiredly roamed over the stacks of books in shelves from

Instead he sat up slowly and glanced at the man, perhaps a bit suspiciously, if he could muster the effort it took to look so.
".... yes, but I said that for the case of those who are not 'most people', and on the assumption I was alone." He replied softly in a hoarse voice and frowned after an attempt to clear his throat failed.
Good lord he was miserable.
"... I'm sorry, and you are?" He asked dully rubbing his throat and frowning.

He leaned against a nearby bookcase, having decided to stick around for the time being; though, if the other wanted him to leave, he would. "Vash." He replied simply, still debating whether or not he should look for some medicine.

Honestly. Still, he had to admit he was being a bit rude, so with a sigh he offered his hand out (though it shook a little) and said in as firm a voice he could manage;
"Captain Toushiro Hitsugaya of the Gotei 13."
Reply
"Oh," he said, blinking, and then bowing. "Good day, Captain Hitsugaya! It's been a little while; how have you been?" (He politely refrained from making any statements regarding conclusions he might have drawn from the way Toushirou appeared to have been. One ought never to assume, after all.)

Sitting up he gave what he hoped was a blank expression.
Instead it was piteously miserable.
"Fine, Hanatarou, thank you very much." He said rubbing a throbbing temple, wishing the headache would go away, or at least the nausea.
"What are you doing in here?" He asked politely to make conversation, anything to stop thinking about his illness. He had thought perhaps reading would help, but seeing as the letters all blurred into one large mess for him... well that hadn't worked.
He also raised an eyebrow at Hanatarou's attire.

"Hm?" Hanatarou blinked, brushing absently at the side of his face with the feather duster. After a second, he looked directly at the feather duster; then he sneezed. "... I was going to dust."
If he noticed the raised eyebrow, he gave no indication of it. (And even if he did notice it, he possessed no understanding of its meaning. This was normal living world clothing, right?) "Well, um... can I get you anything?"
Reply
"No, I'm fine thank you. I'll be out of your way shortly." He declared as he gathered up the few books he had pulled from the shelves and stood.
The books fell to the floor in an array of papers as Toushiro suddenly grabbed the table to keep from falling as his vision spun.
"Kuso..." He muttered darkly as his hand flew to his head and his eyes narrowed in confused haze.

Naminé had been sitting in the corner of the room, sketching quietly as force of habit demanded. Though she was no longer required to draw, she did get a sense of comfort from the soft scratching of the pencil against her paper and from seeing the lines appear on the white canvas. She had been trying out something new, wanting to paint since she never really had.
The muttered statement reached her ears through the relative silence of the room and she looked up at the white-haired young man she had seen when she first arrived. Though she had heard him, the young Nobody hadn't been able to distinctly tell what he had said.
Standing up, Naminé went over to Toushiro and gently lay a hand on his shoulder. "Are you sure you shouldn't be lying down somewhere?" she asked. "You look terrible."
Reply
"Oh.... hello, Namine." He said blankly. What was she talking about? He was lying down!
.... figuratively speaking.
...dammit.
He sighed miserably. "Probably, but I can't exactly go to sleep in my room." He said blandly.
"My roomate has this terrible habit of .... er.... not respecting... my.... bubble?" He finished lamely. Oh yeah, he was out of it.
"So... I can't really rest in my room." He finished dully.
He knew exactly what Xemnas's mothering would lead to...

She may not know Toushiro very well, but she had a mothering sense in her that made her want to help out any way she could. Of course, had she known exactly who Toushiro's roommate actually was, she probably would not have made the suggestion in the first place.
Reply
"N-no, that's alright! He means well, I uh... nevermind, don't worry about it!" He said quickly.
The thought of Namine trying to tell Xemnas not to worry about Toushiro was enough to put a smile on the shinigami's face, which was followed promptly by a round of coughing.

Pausing to decide whether or not to poke him he decided to go for it since what was the worse that could happen?
"Dude if you are sick then you should go outside, and get some sun. Sitting around here is not going to help."
Reply
".... I'm sorry, who are you and why are you telling me to go outside?" He asked dimly as he raised his head from the table and clutched at his temple as he gave the newcomer a surly glare.
Reply
"Name's Dante and even you would surely agree that sunshine is better than sitting among all this dusty book ..?"
Reply
"I see, I simply just wanted a place to rest, I'm not certain going outside would be any better." He replied simply as he slipped his eyes shut and leaned on the back of the chair looking perfectly at ease.
In truth his headache was driving him INSANE.
