Oh man! That was so incredibly satisfying. Your RDJ voice was seriously incredibly perfect; I can only hope he's like that for real. I really loved the Joe/Indio angle, the way they both approached their relationship (and their relationships with Robert) were wonderful. And I really loved how in the final moments, Joe thought "if Kevin were here." I adore Joe/Nick, obviously, but the fact of the matter is that Joe loves Kevin as much as he loves Nick, and your thoughtfulness in writing that little bit makes this story that much better. I feel like RDJ has to be even stranger, because he stops making sense to me at some point in like half the interviews/profiles I read. So charming and yet so off his rocker. I'm so happy he was convincing here, though. Thanks, miss.

Also! Kevin! Yes. I enjoy that he is just as much a core part of those dudes as Nick and Joe, and I always wish people kept him present more. He's so fabulous and all!

I have to say, I definitely would have expected an HSM3 viewing and some discussion about Ryan/Chad to have happened in your living room way before something like this. And yet!

Also, dude, you know Indio is just exhausted. He's earned some time where things with his dad are no an issue. He doesn't have time for anybody's divided attention gumming up the works.

i am pretty sure you have watched HSM3 at our house already, right?

never underestimate how strongly i feel about RDJ. lol. right now i am thinking, hmm, who else could i pair him with, say, early-sobriety years or before. (don't think i haven't considered the timing of those antics and kiefer's general drunkenness.)
