In The Company Of Glamour Words (Joe Jonas/Indio Downey, PG13)

Feb 03, 2010 20:29

Long story long: here are a couple shots of Robert Downey, Jr. talking with the Jonas Brothers. And so soon after drusilla27 suggested in a comment that Joe Jonas/RDJ was a good idea! I could get into into Joe Jonas/RDJ quicker than something happening with Mel Gibson any day. Still, wearemany pointed out that the fact that RDJ's son being a year younger than Nick ( Read more... )

Thanks so much! I had no idea what writing RDJ would end up being like, but his crazy was actually a lot of fun. And, man, that's definitely how it happens with Joe Jonas. One day you don't care, and then slowly you're like, "Oh, hey there, middle Jonas."

this is deeply deeply entertaining. i love joe, hanging out, and picking his boyfriend up, and being sort of normal within the whole weird context of his life.

so good.

The thought of Joe "Administrate me, Nick; I bought you a big fake horse" Jonas being the normal one in any situation was just too much to pass up.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, dude!

Thank you! Haha, dude, I know how it goes with reading unexpected things. That's kind of how I feel about writing this. The whole time I was like, "Ahh, what is this, even? Is this really happening?" And, yes. Yes, it was. Heh.

I love this! Your Joe is so awkward/sweet/adorable. And your RDJ is HILARIOUS. I love how you can just feel his brain working and working and spitting forth all these WORDS that don't quite match up with all the thinking he's doing because there is just TOO MUCH THINKING going on. And I don't know anything about Indio in real life, but I enjoy his cynical world-weary 16ishness here. The dynamics of the triangle really work, and this the whole thing is ridiculously charming. I am charmed.

Thanks so much, dude! It's definitely sort of interesting writing about Indio, because there isn't that much info on him, but I could buy him being a mix of weird like his dad and totally used to it and unconcerned at times. I'm glad you dug him as well as Joe and RDJ!

Oh man, this is so many kinds of awesome I don't even know where to begin. They are all my favourite, and I feel that a tiny part of the universe is now a little bit more settled in its existence. Also --

He feels so cool. He has to take another swig from his soda bottle, he feels so cool, and then Jasper says, "Don't you just do Disney stuff?"

Ahahahahahahaha :D Totally, epically fabulous, dude!
