Awesome, awesome stuff. I love how real the dialogue and dynamic felt. I love how Mark always feels like a stranger, even to himself. So happy to see this movie getting fic and a fandom!

Thanks so much! And re: Mark's detachment -- YES. The way Mark was written in the movie was fascinating for that reason. Even when people really tried to get to know him and seemed to care about, he wouldn't fully connect, just kept searching for how to get in with folks, regardless of whether he'd actually accomplished it.

IN CONCLUSION HE SHOULD HAVE LEFT EDUARDO LOVE HIM. Sigh, sigh.
