What other country, when attacked in an unprovoked aggression across a recognized international frontier, is then put on a countdown clock by the world, given a limited time window in which to fight back, regardless of whether it has restored its own security?

It's curious... there is a kind of dual mindedness that pervades most of european thought relating Israel and her war to survive. It doesn't seem to make sense, but it exists nevertheless. Now do you see why I don't respect the UN and some of these countries? They do nothing, and merely make snide comments, write angry letters and do the best they can to demonize those who do take action (not that I'm saying the US is justified in everything it does, but insofar as I see Israel is in this war).
