Across various media

Tori here.  Not much to report in terms of life so I thought I'd give some thoughts on various media I have been enjoying...or not.

PS2:  Persona 3!  Okay, this has to be the most unconventional RPG I've ever played but I really really like it.  No random battles, unique magical powers, 3-D character models and 2-D cutscenes go well together, Tarot

1. I totally stopped watching this season of Venture Brothers after the first episode. I'll be the first in line to buy the DVD when it's out, but I just seem to always miss the timeslot for it. Plus I really only watch for the Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend and they don't seem to be featured much, from what I can tell.

2. I've been curious about the Dr. Layton game and I may have to check it out. I loved Puzzle Quest so much that I maxed out my levels on it and never finished the story, so more puzzle-y stuff would be grand.

Sounds like some stuff I should check out. I'd thought about Professor Layton as well so it might be something worth checking out. I've thought about Persona as well but I think a RPG that takes place in a Japanese school might make my brain explode right now.

Yeah, I'd wait until you're actually nostalgic about Japan before playing Persona 3. ;-)

So you're back, eh? I wish I could see you but I'm back in NM for now! Perhaps if I take a trip to the west coast...
