In regards to the first one, in my horribly misguided opinion, Hezbollah has been fucking annoying as of late. I feel their original mission has just been abandoned and they are now just working to advance themselves further within Lebanese/Syrian politics. They would do themselves and their cause much more good to revert back to the olden days of Solidarity with the weak...and lets face it, Syria does not fit that category (regardless of ethnic ties and all that stupidity).
I'm confused really as to the whole Gimblat-Hezbollah standoff as of late. Weren't they singing each other's praises only a month ago? Honestly, Lebanon is bordering on the riduculous, and its just become like, as my grandmother says: "a bunch of old ladies within nothing better to do, bitching back and forth at each"
The UK's role is hypocritical, regardless...but then again, when was it not?
I found a couple Amnesty International articles about Alluni: United States/YemenSpain. I wasn't aware of his role in exposing the goings-on in Afghanistan and Iraq.
And don't count on the Americans, British or French to help solve anything relating to Syria, Lebanon or Hizbullah. Too much self-interest. We all also know all the UN resolutions in the world don't seem to do anything to Israel, Turkey or anyone else.
