Ok, so after watching the Oprah episode I heard about while I was at college in which she interviewed Common, Russell Simmons and other Hip Hop executives, I got really angry.

Hip Hop isn't evil. Why do I have to defend it? Oprah had the nerve to bring Common on stage to talk about the degrading of women in Hip Hop. If you know of Common than you

While I'm no fan of hip-hop, I agree that we need to look more at depictions in all the media.

Incidentally, they used to blame rock for everything before hip-hop and video games became the new cool things to burn in effigy.
