*just studying*

I joined a language community so that I can practice Swedish. Since I'm a newbie I'm supposed to answer a few questions. If you know how to speak the language feel free to correct me, or leave a scrap in svenska, because I really wanna learn. I think I made many mistakes, but that's ok. Practice makes perfect, so let's do it!

Hmmm ditt svensk e fint :)

i think that's very good, actually :)

instead of 'så försöker jag' it should be 'så jag försöker' (at least considering how the first part of the sentence is written - if you would've written 'eftersom det inte finns många lärare...' your last part would've been correct).

instead of 'jag bara lesar bilderboken' it should be 'jag läser bara bilderböcker'.

that's pretty much all the mistakes i can find.

Tack så mycket!:)

I never know the order of things. This is one of my major difficulties. I noticed that sometimes the subject comes after the verb, like "nu försöker jag ta kontakt..." but I never know when to do it.

As for the other mistake, it really was lack of attention because I used to know how to spell läser hehe

i think there was a discussion about this in learn_swedish a while ago, in the comment's section on a post.

Jesus christ, you're better at Swedish than I am! XD Ok, maybe not, but you're very, very good at it. A few things I noticed in your post though: [...]svenska i Brasilien, så försöker jag lära mig själv." should read (changes in bold): [...]svenska i Brasilien, så jag försöker lära mig själv.

Worth nothing, though, is that if you had started the sentence with "Eftersom det inte finns många lärare[...]" it would've been correct as it is.

Jag bara lesar bilderboken på svenska. - Jag bara läser bilderböcker på svenska [än så länge].

Other than that it's a grammatically sound post. I tend to post in Swedish in my journal every now and then (although it was a couple of years since I last did, I must admit), so feel free to add me if you want to. ^^

Ouch. Yeah, my syntax is off in "Jag bara läser bilderböcker [...]" - ulrica_81 is correct ^^;

Seems I forgot to close an italics tag. No matter, too late now XD

Swedish is so hard. I remember during my orientation in stockholm, in an hour long intro to swedish lesson, the only thing I picked up was "vad heter du?" and "jag heter jennifer".

I wish I tried harder to learn while I was over there...

That was the first thing I learned also :)
That, and "hej hej", "tack", "hejdå".
It really is hard. I do it mostly because I want to know what the bf talks about when he's on the phone with his friends. hahaha kidding. I'm not such a control freak.
Ah! I miss Stockholm :)
