I am not too fond of the cold or the lack of decent public transports. I can assure that MY quality of life has decreased substantially in Jersey. The crime rate is the biggest down factor in Brazil to me, the only thing that would keep me from moving back. As for the scandinavian countries, I don't see myself living in a place that's dark for most of the year. I've lately realized that, at least to me, "quality of life" means much more than low crime levels and money. I'm yet to find to best country for me to live in. :)

I live in a great apartment near the beach, it takes me only 5 steps to get to work, I work part time and get well paid, I can go to great doctors whenever I want...This is my life in Brazil. If it weren't for the crime rate I'd be living in a utopia. Needless to say that my quality of life in Norway decreases a little. The biggest factor that makes Norway so special is the fact that it's where the hubby lives. The UN knows nothing, if he was from the *adds the country that ranked at the last place* it'd still be number 2 in my book. The truth is that there's no perfect place, but thank God it's not impossible to live a happy life even with all the problems the place might have.

Really? Wow! And I wasn't even trying :)
It sure is a nice place. Not sure if you would enjoy living there, but I can assure you that it's an amazing country to visit.

I lived in Germany for some time and loved it, plus it helps that you've made Norwegian men look like the ideal male specimens - cook? Take on roles that are typically female-dominated?

What am I doing in the US?! lol

hahahaha He's actually Swedish. He does the cooking, does his own laundry, goes grocery shopping...of course I help out also, but I believe it'd be kind of hard to find a man like that in Brazil, since most Brazilian guys I know are so sexist.

Where are you from? Just curious.
