I wouldn't say all. If it's more than a paragraph or two, and you think not everyone will be interested in reading it, then put it behind a cut. But if it's just a paragraph, it's easy enough just to skip over. And if you put it behind a cut, say enough before the cut so we'll know what it's about, and know whether we want to read it or not.
A cut is appropriate for a post over, oh, 300 words or so. For reference, of your recent posts, "Why me?" is 252 words, and "I am a young woman" was 575.
You may not want to cut all of it, just the bulky part, as annodomini mentioned.

That's ironic. I hate cuts unless they are hiding meaningless LJ-memes or large images. The issue for me is the number of posts. I get 25 posts to a page, and LJ-cuts don't affect how many posts I see. On the other hand, LJ-Cut requires me to open an entirely separate page on my 28.8K dial up connection to read the rest of the post. I'd much rather have to scroll a little farther to avoid something I don't want to read than have to open a separate page to read something I want to see.
it wasn't jsut you but it sparked my looking around at other peoples views of it across livejournal. though considering you ahve such slow bandwidth I may just use it for memes and really really long posts.
another thing that I think you do but I don't see other's doing is posting Meme's behind LJcuts. I don't mind one but any more than that should really go behind a cut. That's why Ididn't have Adam on my list for a long time. He had too many meme and not enough actual posts.
