Wow that was short but great and I'm looking forward for more.
I like how you had Remus and Tonks only unconscious, when Harry thought they died, IMO it's very plausible for them to survive the way you wrote the prologue.
May I friend you to keep up with your work? ( now that I own a LJ for myself :D)

I agree that having them unconscious is plausible and a great way to lead into the AU. Tonks's personality is so vivid here that it makes me sad and happy at the same time, especially her concern for Remus and Teddy.

One typo: Mr Wesley saw what happened.

When I read this, my first thought was: Who is Wesley? *lol*

Not so much a comment on the story (although I do really like the opening sentences. Nymphadora Tonks slowly regain consciousness.
The first thing she saw upon opening her eyes were stars. All she saw were stars.

but a comment on your decision to keep the other deaths: I agree with that, it's perfectly reasonable (though I would almost readily trade Arthur for Fred . . .)
