Friendly and down to earth, you want to enjoy Europe without snobbery or pretensions.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Dublin is the most snobby, pretentious city I know. :D

Personally, I loved Ireland in general. Dublin, though, was quite crowded and not quite as friendly as the rest of the country, which was quite lovely.

Agreed. Although, the National Museum and the Customs House and the Post was worth the train ride..

I liked Kerry, Clare, and Conemarra in general

And a fantastic restaurant called The Arches...right where the road splits on the N17....

I had the best time walking around the churches and the Black Abbey there...

Apparently we are both Dubliners (Dublinites? Dublonians?) at heart.

Meet you in the pub for a pint!

GO TO IRELAND!!!

Dublin is way huge and there's all kinds of cool stuff to see and do. BUT, if you wanna see castles, east or west coast (I'm partial to Donegal and Ballyshannon---oh! And the Rock of Cashel in Tipperary!). Landscapes and neoliths, Kerry, Cork, and Clare..

*icon is Ballygoran in Co. Kerry--I took this picture last year*
