R.I.P. Caylee

It was just made official: The remains found last week ARE those of Caylee Anthony.

Sheriff Beary just said, "She...and the community...have closure now." Then a big guy like him broke down crying.

Poor baby, I hope she can rest in peace now. I feel terrible for her grandparents and family...I really think that they believed she was still alive.

I saw some of that story when I was in Florida this summer - how sad. I am pleased the family have some closure now, although no doubt it will never be over and certainly not until the person responsible is confirmed. There have been a few cases in the UK recently where murders from the 1990s have finally been solved with convictions and I think it must be of some comfort to know what happened.

It so amazing what can be done with forensics these days that I wonder why people still commit crimes so shoddily!

I mean haven't they watched CSI?

Yes... I, too, am curious as to her explanation now. I'm surprised there aren't groups massing down there for a lynching.

I'm very surprised as well that there hasn't been any mobs at the grandparent's house or at the jail. And I'm sure that the Orange Co Sheriff's Office is grateful for that!

I wonder what would happen if Casey tries to go to Caylee's funeral =O

I think they're leaving the g-parents alone as concensus seems to be they had nothing to do with it. Casey, however...
