In spite of the rain, or apropos to the set list, Prince put on an amazing show!

I agree. It is the first time in years I actually watched the half time show.

I liked how simple it was -- neon emphasizing his signature shape of the stage and him out there just singing and playing a guitar. And what a simple amazing effect to have his silhouette cast upon a cloth held aloft by some fans blowing upwards! It made him larger than life without a hugely complicated stage array.

I don't even think he needed the backup dancers.
