Netiquette is built
From the sticks and stones we hurl
At those who o'erstep.

My dilemma is thus:

It happened that I wanted to work on this poem from a remote location, but knew I wouldn't finish it right away. So I created the post privately, made notes and entries, and kept editing it until I was ready to call it 'done'. At which point I made it public. However, for those few masochists who read my writings, this turns out to mean it's unlikely it will show up in the obvious place on their 'friends list' (on account of it being so old, you see). Now I'm not, as a rule, putting my own poetry out for the sake of the gratification received from commentary thereon. (Though it is gratifying, and for those who offer it, I thank you.) So my first inclination was just to let it appear, and if anyone happened over it, that was their own bad luck. On the other hand, some people have gone out of their as to 'friend' me, and might be hurt if I didn't make some effort to let them know there was new stuff out there.

So, anyone want to express an opinion? If I do this again, should I put a recent 'flag post' up to call attention to it, or just let it remain in its natural place in the order of things without special intervention?
