Oh I know. The thing about asian food though is that it doesn't usually taste OF garlic -- it just has garlic in it. As one of the many, subtle, blended flavour.
Although the eggplant that we had last week that had so much garlic that the chunks of it got stuck in my teeth... That was a bit hard to ignore, but in the more complex sauces like the one with the sezchuan beef that we had... that was bearable.
Ah, OK. Kinda like my "mushrooms are OK if they're chopped small enough" thing. Just confused me for a minute, 'cause I think most of the meals I've ever eaten with you have been pretty heavy on the garlic, and I've never heard you say that before.
