Pickles taste garlicky. Garlic tastes bad. QED.

Your second point is incorrect. It should read "Garlic tastes AWESOME." If you had included an actual conclusion to QED all over, it wouldn't follow.

...you know all chinese and thai food has lots of garlic in it, right? There was tons of garlic in the stuff we ate with Sarb on Thursday.

Oh I know. The thing about asian food though is that it doesn't usually taste OF garlic -- it just has garlic in it. As one of the many, subtle, blended flavour.

Although the eggplant that we had last week that had so much garlic that the chunks of it got stuck in my teeth... That was a bit hard to ignore, but in the more complex sauces like the one with the sezchuan beef that we had... that was bearable.

Ah, OK. Kinda like my "mushrooms are OK if they're chopped small enough" thing. Just confused me for a minute, 'cause I think most of the meals I've ever eaten with you have been pretty heavy on the garlic, and I've never heard you say that before.

We *love* that recipe - in fact, we're having it tonight (and the next couple of nights as leftovers)

So not a fan of whipping garlic at dbag neighbours, then? Cuz we have quite a few leftover peeled cloes...

We don't waste garlic like that, although it might make them smell a bit better.

Any which way, we'd end up having to clean it up from the backyard.
