lillibet got Aaron and myself gift certificates for a mushing lesson with Hilltown Wilderness Adventures as a Chanukah present, and we finally managed to schedule that for this weekend.

Wow! You did it! That is so cool! The dogs are beautiful and you look so in-command on that sled. I'm really glad that it all worked out and was fun!

Sounds like a blast! And the dogs sound -- and look -- adorable. I hadn't realized Alaskan Huskies looked so different from what I'm used to thinking of as an (unspecified) husky.

I remember reading a while back that some folks were concerned for the well being of the dogs who run the Iditarod. A concern that lasted pretty much just until they saw the dogs getting ready to run. In dog-speak, I believe every one of them was yelling "OH GOD WE GET TO DO THE THING!!!!!" at the top of their lungs.
