Hum, I could have him try both drawings, and see what he comes up with.

I didn't like the ravin in the second, but loved the face and hair. I also wasn't into the horn on the first.

Who knows what playing with the pic might bring.

I would take him both drawings and let him know you want something similar to that, and let him draw what he likes. You will get an 'orgional' tatttoo it you let the artist design it, and a much better tattoo overall.
I like the "artful nude" that doesn't actually show anything much better.
