She's clearly a talented writer to be able to write both sci-fi and historical fiction and have readers enjoy both.

She really was. That she was called the "Grand Dame of Science Fiction" says a lot. But she wrote so well in both genres.

I've enjoyed just about everything she's written, no matter the genre. And while most of her books are science fiction, she did write quite a few historical novels. It's been fun returning to those that I originally read so many years ago.
